Yangon Arrival by TG303 at 08:45 am

Tony will meet you on arrival. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Sightseeing includes the Chaukhtagyi Reclining Buddha Image, Beikthano Art Gallery, the National Museum,  Bogyoke Aung San Market and the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most wonders of the world.

December 14, Monday (B)

Yangon Sightseeing by car

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing includes the Botahtaung Pagoda, the hundred-year old colonial buildings, Pansodan Jetty, the Sule Pagoda, O.K. Jewellery Shop, the Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, White Elephant Camp, the Kaba Aye Pagoda, Maha Pasana Cave, Defense Museum and also explore Chinatown, to see the lifestyle of overseas Chinese.

Accommodation: Panda Hotel, Yangon

(Generally, the sightseeing will start at 08:00 am and end at 08:00 pm)

December 15, Tuesday (B)

Yangon - Bagan by flight (Departure Yangon at 06:30  by Yangon Airways YH-917 and arrive at Nyaung Oo at 08:05, Direct Flight)

Early morning at 04:45 am, transfer to airport for flight to Bagan. On arrival, proceed to the colourful Nyaung Oo Market to explore the lifestyle of local people. Afterward, visit the Shwezigone Pagoda, the Gubyaukgyi Temple at Wet Kyi Inn village, the Htilominlo Temple and the Khay Min Gha Pagoda for the panoramic view. Then check in to the hotel. Afternoon tour highlights: visit the Lawka Nanda Pagoda, the Nan Paya, the Manuha Temple, the lacquer ware workshop, the Mya Zedi, the Minkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple and sunset from the Mingala Zedi.

December16, Wednesday (B)

Bagan - Popa - Bagan by car

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Popa, 50 km from Bagan, has been described as Mount Olympus of Myanmar. Enroute you can visit the Dhamma Yazaka Zedi and observe the lifestyle of local people. On arrival, climb 777 steps up to the top of the mountain. You can appreciate the superb panorama atop the mountain. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then return to Bagan. Afternoon sightseeing: visit the Paya Thone Zu Group, Tayoke Pyi Paya, the Pyathagyi Temple, the Sula Mani Temple, the Dhammayangyi and sunset at the Bu Paya. Dinner at a local restaurant.

December 17, Thursday (B)

(You will take a hot air balloon ride this morning at about 06:20. The balloon ride will last 45 minutes. The agent will come pick up you at between 05:30 and 06:00 and then send you back to the hotel between 08:30 and 09:00)

 

The Balloon Over Bagan Sales Desk at Thiripyitsaya Santuary , Bagan opens at 08:00AM – 11:00AM and 05:00AM – 08:00PM. Kindly contact the sales one or two days prior to the ride. They can be reach at Tel: 061-60058.

 

After the balloon ride, visit the Gaw Daw Palin, the Bagan Archaeological Museum, Nat Hlaung Kyaung, the Maha Bodi Pagoda,  the Ananda Temple, Ananda Oakkyaung, the Thatbyinnyu Temple and take a horse cart (own account) to enjoy sunset at the Shwesandaw Paya.

December 18, Friday (B)

Bagan – Heho – Kalaw by flight (Departure Nyaung Oo at about 08:05 by YH-917 and will arrive at Heho at about 09:35 via Mandalay)

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport at 06:00 am for flight to Heho. On arrival at Heho Airport, proceed to Kalaw by car, which was a popular hill station in the Brithsh days. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Then set out for a half-day trekking to Tar Yaw Village, where you can experience the lifestyle of the Palaung tribe. Then proceed to the View Point (Depending on your arrival time at Kalaw, you can adjust your lunch time). Return to Kalaw from another route if the time is too late. On your way back you can visit Nee Paya or Thein Daung Monastery.

December 19, Saturday (B)

Kalaw – Inle Lake sightseeing by car / boat

After breakfast, drive to Nyaung Shwe. This morning you will experience the colorful 5-day market at Aung Ban. Your driver will stop at Aung Ban, where you can see a lot of hill tribes selling the local products. Check in to Hupin Hotel. Then take a boat trip around Inle Lake, which is 22km by 10km and 875 metres above sea level. Tour hightlights include visit to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda-the most venerated Pagoda on the lake, you can also sightsee the unique leg-rowers and the fishing method, different from other regions; Shan weaving and silverware at Inpawkhone, the ironsmith, cheroot making workshop and Jumping Cat monastery

December 20, Sunday (B) (5-day market at Mine Thaut and Phaung Daw Oo)

Free at your leisure. As you will enjoy the 5-day market on December 19 and December 21, so you can free at your leisure today.

December 21, Monday (B) Inn Taing 5-day market

(I have modified the sightseeing to Inn Taing on December 21 instead, because there is a 5-day market today at Inn Taing Village.) After breakfast, tour highlights include Inn Taing Village, located at the west coast of the lake. Visit the Shwe Inn Taing Pagoda, where you can see a lot of ancient pagodas. Afterwards, walk across the beautiful bamboo forest and a small dam. Visit a bamboo hat making workshop. On your way back, visit Ywama Village, Khaung Daing Village and Khaung Daing hot spring. Then return to Nyaung Shwe. Free at your leisure.

December 22, Tuesday (B)

Nyaung Shwe – Heho – Thandwe – Ngapali Beach by flight/ car (Departure Heho at about 09:00 by Air Bagan W9-141, and will arrive at Thandwe at about 10:00, Direct Flight)

After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport at 06:30 am for the flight to Thandwe. On arrival at Thandwe, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

December 26, Saturday (B) Taunggoke – Sitwwe by Malikha boat

After breakfast, check out at 07:00AM, take a boat trip to Sittwe. Lunch at Kyaukpyu. You will arrive at Sittwe at about 04:00 pm. Transfer to the hotel for check-in.

December 27, Sunday (B)

Sittwe -Mrauk U sightseeing by boat/car

After breakfast, sightseeing Sittwe Market and then transfer to Mrauk Oo by boat. It takes 4:30 hours to reach Mrauk U. Check in to hotel on arrival. Tour highlights include visit to the Koethaung Temple, the Ratana Manaung Pagoda, the Sakya Manaung Pagoda, Bandoola Monastery, Lat Say Kan and the Zina Manaung Pagoda. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing includes the Shittaung Pagoda, the Andaw Thein Temple, the Ratanabon Pagoda, the Dukenthein Temple, the Laymyathna Pagoda, the Laung Bwon Pagoda, the Annawmar Image and Pitaket Tike Library.

(Since you arrive at Mrauk U in the afternoon, so the itinerary may not be finished on that day but you can continue on the next day.)

Mrauk U - Chin Tatooed Villages - Mrauk U by boat

After breakfast, transfer for the sig
