Day 1. Arrival

Warmly welcome by your guide on your arrival. Then transfer to the hotel for check-in. You will tour the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image first. Depending on your time, enjoy your lunch at Golden Duck (8 miles). After your lunch, visit to the Kaba Aye Pagoda and Maha Pasana Guha/Cave (closed on Sat & Sun. Open at 10:00 am – 04:00 pm but closed between 12:00 & 01:00 pm), appreciate the works of Myanmar Art at Beik Thano Art Gallery, the National Museum, and the magnificent Shwedagon, one of the most wonders of the world. Enjoy your dinner with the cultural show at Karaweik Palace. Accommodation: Panorama Hotel or similar.

Shwedagon Pagoda

Day 2. Yangon – Bagan by flight (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan. On arrival, proceed to the colorful Nyaung Oo Market to explore the ways of life of the local people. Then visit the Shwezigon Pagoda, the Gubyaukgyi Temple at Wet Kyi In village, the Htilominlo Temple, Ananda Temple and Ananda Okkyaung. Drive to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy your lunch at River View or Sunset Garden Restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing includes visit to the Manuha Temple, lacquer-ware workshop, the Minkaba Gubyaukgyi Temple, the Mingala Zedi, the Thatbyinnyu Temple and enjoy sunset at the Shwesandaw or Bu Paya. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation: Bagan Thande Hotel or similar.


Shwezigone Pagoda

Day 3. Bagan – Mandalay – Amarapura – Mandalay by flight (B)

Transfer to the airport for flight to Mandalay, which was the last capital of Konbaung Dynasty and is still the cultural center of Myanmar. On arrival, drive to Amarapura to experience about 1000 monks having their lunch at 10:15 hour at Maha Gandayon Monastery; also stroll across the 1.2 km long U Bein Bridge, which is built cross the Taungthaman Lake, and observe silk-weaving workshop. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afternoon sightseeing includes visit to the Mahamuni Buddha Image, tapestry workshop, gold-leaf makers, stone carvers, bronze casting workshop, Mya Nan San Kyaw Golden Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery and the Kuthodaw Pagoda, dubbed "the World's Biggest Book", the shrine is surrounded by 729 marble slabs on which are inscribed the entire Buddhist canon / Tripitaka. Enjoy the superb panorama from the top of Mandalay Hill. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation: Hongta Hotel or similar.

Lighting Festival in Mahamuni Pagoda

Day 4. Mandalay –Sagaing – Kaungmudaw -Ava – Mandaly by car (B)
 
Drive to Sagaing, which was once the capital of an independent Shan Kingdom around 1315AD. On arrival at Sagaing, continue to the Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda, built by King Thalun 1636. On the way, you will note some ancient pagodas. En route visit pottery, cane-ware, silver-ware and the beautiful snow-white and dom-shaped Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda. Then return to Sagaing. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. After your lunch, continue to the Sagaing Hills, where tour highlights are the Umin Thonzeh Pagoda, the Soon Oo Ponnyashin Pagoda and Tilawkaguru Monastery. Then head for Ava which had been the capital of a Myanmar kingdom since 1364 AD for nearly 400 years, apart from some brief interludes. Tour highlights include the Nan Myint Watch Tower (27 meter high); Maha Aung Mye Bon Zan Monastery, an imitation of the traditional wooden style; the Lawkataraphu Pagoda with two figures of a couple of Europeans on a glazed plaque; and Bagaya Monastery (Ava), constructed with 267 teak wooden pillars. Return to Mandalay. Dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation: Hongta Hotel or similar.
 

Sagaing Bridge

Day 5. Mandalay – Heho – Inle Lake by flight (B)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. On arrival at Heho, drive to Nyaung Shwe. En route visit Shweyanpyay Monastery with oval-shaped windows built by ancient Shan kings. Then proceed to Nyaungshwe, the capital city of ancient Shan kings. Check in at the hotel. Tour highlights include the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest site in southern Shan State. Lunch at Nam Pan Restaurant. Also visit Nam Pan Market. Then visit the Shan weaving workshop (appreciate the people weaving the yarns from the lotus stems into the holy robes), silverware, ironsmith, cheroot making workshop and Ngahpe Chaung Monastery also known as "Jumping Cat Monastery". You can also experience the floating garden, outstanding method of fishing and unique leg-rowers on the lake. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel. Accommodation: Hu Pin Hotel, Nyaung Shwe or similar.


Mahamyatmuni Pagoda

Day 6. Nyaung Shwe – Heho – Yangon by flight (B)
 
After breakfast, visit Nyaung Shwe Market and nearby places. Check out the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Yangon. Lunch at a local restaurant. Drive to the hotel for check-in. After a break at the hotel, visit to Bogyoke Market, the Botahatuang Pagoda, hundred-year old colonial buildings, the Sule Pagoda and environs, and Chinatown to experience the ways of life of the overseas Chinese. Accommodation: Panorama Hotel or similar.

Inle Monastery

Day 7. Departure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight home.
